my top 11 2011 music moments

my top 11 2011 music moments

#11.
GEORGE HARRISON-NESS
Fall 2011 I began reading the book “Wonderful Tonight”, the autobiography about the famous mod model and rock star muse, Pattie Boyd. The ex-wife of the great George Harrison (not to mention Eric C.). A young ‘60’s english love story of the two meeting, falling in love, and creating this magnificent and exotic marriage, George Harrison is my new romeo. Now, I say “began reading” because I actually still haven’t finished it. I’m book marked right before the chapter of their divorce, & I can’t bare to make myself read it- so it sits in front of my tv. Now to Georgey. On my iTunes I only have one album of The Beatles, “Please Please Me”, my favorite one. I’ve NEVER been the girl to buy those Beatles shirts in Forever21/Urban or the pencil cases, or any other merch. simply because I wasn’t a fan, and it’s always everywhere, so it makes it less intriguing. BUT! ever since this book, I find myself in stores, picking out Beatles merch!! I even put them on my christmas list!! A giant coffee table book of the Beatles fashion. At KMart, I oogled over these beer mugs with their faces on them in an Andy Warhol style- I know- so chique of KMart. So my #11 music moment of the year goes to “George Harrison-ness” for making me fall for the Beatles.

so it's only been like 90billion years, but hey! here's a new post!
this summer my brother lived in Chicago, IL for a while to go to IO improv school, so for his final show the rents & i went to see him perform & bring him home with us! & WOW, Chicago was AMAZING! im honestly not a big city kind of gal, i personally prefer the small town feel & big cities give me butterflies, but this city, MAN, this city was everything! it had a hometown feel, with the big city light. chicago people are such the different breed compared to where i live (snudy patoodys everywhere), dont get me wrong i love my hometown, but this city had some real character. wrigleyville & andersonville were def my favorites. when we first arrived in chicago we got in our rental car and drove straight to wrigley field to meet up with my bro and drop my dad off while the guys went to a game and me and the ma went to check in to our amazin hotel. but anyhoo, what a way to be welcomed to a city! having my first impression of chi town be wrigleyville- it couldnt have been better! anyways, blah blah blah, overall it was truly amazinn'
