a collective view of some loved items on ModCloth

eras, the 1970s..

a young version of my dad.

love this era because
  • im obsessed with men in those high waisted tucked in bell bottomed pants
  • my parents were teenagers. my dads teen years i know where spent just like Dazed and Confused only the canadian version. for my mom, a movie like the pom pom girls would suite her.

I ventured to the mall in the next big town yesterday and bought one thing, a pair of shoes! I was fine with the outcome of one item because we went just to get out of our town and also it means I didn't make my mom spend a lot of money one me, which I always like.
I got these at Target for basically $20.
I got them cause they are my favorite color, mustard yellow-y.

did see a knock off pair of the cardy uggs like these that I did like.
I dont mind that they are knock off, I actually prefer it. less money, & they aren't made from animals. also this top from forever I almost got, but $20 just seemed like too much..

Girls.

just wonderful band.
I got to see them in the winter of 2009, w
hen I was 15 at a local cafe. Openers where Dominant Legs, andThe Morning Benders, who both played wonderful stuff. I had loved them for a month or so before I saw them with a friend and his older brother, but its 2011 and I still am obsessed with this band. I think this band is top stuff. Their newest EP Broken Dreams Club is just as dreamy and sunny as the album before. Owens is just too much for words and their music videos make me want summer freedom and sunshine all day long..

if only..

... I had an unlimited amount of money to spend
& could wear heels, sigh..
